It had been over several months since Minella had last visited Persephone. She longed for the company of other beings to fill her ears full of loud noises as well as the sights her eyes would behold upon arrival. Too long had she spent being all by herself on her spaceship. It was times like these after being out in the dark, abyss of space that you realized how much you missed normal civilization and the contact of others. But that was the price she had to pay for being a traveling merchant. It was her job to go to the vast regions of space, exploring new places to purchase rare items that she could sell for a high price. Except business hadn't been going so well as of lately and her ship was in desperate need of repair and parts as she could only do so much in the way of mechanical work. Thank god she was finally going to Persephone before her ship fell out of space and dropped out of the sky crashing on some god forsaken planet.
======
Two whole weeks had passed since arriving at Persephone. Minella had been able to sell what little she had found during her travels and had found some cheap mechanics to do work on her ship. Of course doing it the cheap way meant that it would take longer and there would be repercussions. Which meant her ship was now a broken ship and that she was going to be stuck on a planet a lot longer then she intended on staying.
Dirty with black oil covering her once clean clothes and most of her body, Minella decided it was time to call it a day concerning the fixing of her ship and get cleaned up and head over to the local drinking hole to empty other peoples pockets of their hard earned cash. Which was a laugh if you thought of it that way as most people who visited this planet where outlaws or earned their living the illegal way. Not that she was one to judge how people survived these days, hell she had done a few things in the past she wasn't too proud of but it helped her survive during that time when she needed to the most. So when she helped lighten their pockets a little she felt no guilt in doing so as they most likely earned it the same way she was relieving them of it.
Getting cleaned up first she made her way through the busy streets over to the bar. Walking inside she scanned the room to find the usual crowd inside drowning their sorrows in hard liquor.
Heading over to the bar she sat down on an empty stool and ordered a whiskey to help her relax a little from all the hard labor she had been doing all day. If her ship wasn't fixed within the next few weeks or even days she seriously had to think of selling it for scrap materials and talking her way onto another ship to make some kind of a living for herself. Though it would be hard giving up her ship after all these years, but what choice did she have ?
Taking a sip of her drink she closed her eyes and tuned into the noises all around her. It was soothing to hear after months and months of hearing nothing but your own voice or the silence of space. Except soon the noise became louder and louder as an argument broke out in the back between four men. There was a lot of cussing about some business they had together. It was then she noticed the extremely tall, ruggedly handsome, large almost fearsome man standing behind a smaller man who seemed to be in charge as from the looks of him he certainly knew what he was saying and doing. As the argument progressed, Minella found herself unable to look away. She knew it was rude to stare but she couldn't herself as she continued to watch for the time being as she nursed her drink in one hand with her other hand always a close distance away from her pistol.
